Doug's journey began in graduate school, where he served as an advisor for the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). During this time, he realized his true passion was helping businesses overcome their unique challenges and capitalize on new opportunities. This early experience ignited a passion in Doug, setting him on a career path that spanned more than two and a half decades that included leadership roles at early-stage ventures and some of the world's largest companies, including Amazon and Microsoft.
Doug has gained invaluable insights and expertise through a career marked by success, innovation, and continuous learning. However, his heart has always been with startups and smaller businesses—the unsung heroes of our economy. Doug understands that these businesses and the passionate entrepreneurs who drive them often lack the resources and support they need to thrive.
